Dickstein Shapiro, founded in 1953, is a multiservice law firm with offices in Washington, DC, New York, and Los Angeles. Our attorneys represent clients in a variety of industries with a broad range of requirements. In a continued commitment to respond to the needs of our clients, we have searched consistently for strategic business opportunities in the marketplace, which has resulted in significant growth in our practice size and presence, as well as involved us in every major form of counseling, litigation, and advocacy.

Just as our practice is varied, our clients also are diverse. They range from Fortune 500 companies to start-up ventures, from multinational corporations to government officials, and from leading financial institutions to charitable organizations. Both our clients and our attorneys value creative thinking, decisiveness, and client-oriented approaches to problem solving. We understand the necessity to continue to adapt and innovate in order to deliver the highest caliber service to our clients and to provide the best working environment for our attorneys and staff.

 

Practice areas and client lists do not define this firm. At Dickstein Shapiro, we know that life is too short to be all work and no play, and that as an attorney, you spend too much of your life at work for it NOT to be enjoyable. Many of our attorneys have strong friendships within the attorney ranks at the Firm. As a result, they take their jobs seriously, but they do so with a light heart and a sense of humor. We accept only the brightest law students, but our requirements go further – you must have passion and personality to be successful at Dickstein Shapiro.
