Buz Barclay is a partner in the Firm’s Energy Practice. For more than 25 years, Mr. Barclay has advised clients in the U.S. electric and natural gas industries on energy and infrastructure-related matters. His multidisciplinary practice includes mergers and acquisitions, project development, project restructuring, project finance, private equity and venture capital investing, and merchant plant financing. Mr. Barclay has experience with energy efficiency products and services; wind, solar, biomass and other renewable resources; alternative fuels; ethanol and other biofuels; coal-to-liquids; fuel cells; waste-to-energy; cogeneration and other distributed generation; and nuclear power. His clients include private equity investors, emerging growth companies in the environmental and renewable energy space, project developers, owners and operators, competitive energy suppliers, power marketers, and large industrial and commercial energy consumers.
